SoHi Master Plan Unveiled

The SoHi design committee and HGA architects recently completed a nearly two year long master plan process that includes a dynamic vision for an improved streetscape, a safer pedestrian experience and an overall reinvigorated image.

SoHi Main Street Goes Red, White, and Blue . . . Purple, Yellow, and Green

Thanks to a donation of surplus annuals from the Milwaukee Department of Public Works and the labor of the youth in the Main Street Clean and Green Team, the district is alive with added color and plant life just in time for the Independence Day holiday.

16th Annual Concordia Home Tour Features SoHi Condominiums

Two model units at the West Pointe Condominiums were open to the more than 500 tour attendees at this year’s event sponsored by Historic Concordia Neighbors, Inc. The tour also featured nearby private homes, gardens, and the newly restored art deco treasure of the neighborhood - the Ambassador Hotel .

“ A Taste of SoHi “

Mayor Barrett and Alderman Bauman joined residents and employees of SoHi area businesses as they sampled the food of area vendors and listened to music. The event was organized by the SoHi Promotions Committee and generously sponsored by AT&T - a business with more than 700 people at their SoHi district location.
